Truthiness in Shopping

Hannaford Brothers, a New England grocery store chain, has developed a rating system for their products that indicates the relative healthiness of everything that they’re selling, according to an article orginally published in the New York Times. The system has been developed to counteract all of the healthy claims on packaged goods that mostly just confuse shoppers about what they should eat. While many shoppers applaud the new system, the large food manufacturers are not happy.
