A Delicious Life

About Me

I started A Delicious Life when I became a holistic health coach. I wanted a forum in which I could post tips about how to live healthier and happier - whether that means eating more delicious, nourishing food, working in a job that you love, having healthy loving relationships, finding physical movement that makes you feel awesome, or connecting spiritually in a way that’s meaningful to you.

At this point in my life, I’m very happy. I loving being health coach part time and a writer full time.  I love cooking and sharing delicious food ideas with others and teaching people how to nourish themselves with healthy, delicious, home cooked food. I have a loving family, a beautiful relationship, and a good home environment. I work out regularly and take time for myself to connect spiritually with Source energy in my own personal way.

Life, however, was not always this delicious.

I had been a troubled eater since I was a teenager, a caffeine addict since I was 15, and overweight as a teen and young adult. I’ve had to battle depression, weight gain, hypothyroidism, gastroesophageal reflex disease (GERD), migraines, stress, and unhappiness in my work situations and relationships. I know what it’s like to be sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Personally, I have experimented on myself with the following diets:

  • Atkins
  • South Beach
  • The Zone
  • Fat Flush Plan
  • Anti-Candida
  • Vegetarian
  • Ayurveda
  • Isagenix

Through the many diets and healing modalities I’ve tried, I’ve realized that there is no one diet that works for everyone all of the time. But it is a matter of experimenting, listening to your body, and being open to new ideas that will bring you wellbeing. When your diet improves, you may find that all kinds of other things start to improve, too.

Since I’ve started on my path to total wellness, I have lost weight, gained control of my eating, kicked caffeine, healed my guts, alleviated my depression, and become healthier and happier than I have ever been in my young life. I invite you to seek your own vibrant wellness by joining one of my programs.

Yes, I want to live a delicious life and will take your advice to heart. Towards that goal I will be reading your blog regularly, but I will miss the old blog.

    Hi,

My name is Frida and I’m from Sweden. I have a short
question for you that I hope you could answer. I’m
actually writing a book about eating disorders in
different kind of ways and also other forms of anxiety
about food, and I think that it would be interesting
to get in touch with you (if you think that you have
something to talk about). I’d love it if you answered
directly to my e-mail, flfrida@yahoo.se. If someone
else would be interested in sharing their experiences
    or information (everything; overeating, anorexia,
sugar addiction, bulimia, ortorexia and so on) please
contact me. Obvouusly it’s anonymous and you will of
course get at copy of the book.

    Thanks!

    Frida (flfrida@yahoo.se)
