Day 2 – Time Outside

Take a walk in the woods or a park if you live in the city or suburbs. Take the time to walk slowly, feel your feet connecting with the ground. Smell the fresh air, pine, grass. Gaze up at the sky. Listen to the silence of nature, or listen to any background noise. Let the sights, sensations, smells and sounds touch your senses lightly, and feel reconnected to nature for a moment. You do not need to take a lot of time to do this exercise – just pay attention and see how that feels to allow stillness to take over for a few moments.
