Today, take time out for a hot bath. You can use bath salts, bubbles, or just plain hot water. Adjust the taps so that the water isn’t scalding hot, but will allow you to soak for a while without getting cold. Make sure you won’t be interrupted for at least 20-30 minutes. Light a candle, bring a book or magazine into the bath with you and relax.
Enjoy some time just spacing out – daydream, stare at the tiles, let your mind wander. Feel your body unwind and your stress melt away. Do some deep breathing exercises and feel your mind slow down.
